Overall my savings today was only 29%. What a bummer:( However I did spend ONLY $105 for all of this. I shopped the Smith's case lot sale and was able to stock my pantry with items we were running low on. I came home a little disappointed until I looked at my pantry after I was done putting everything away.

I wished that the top half of my pantry was so organized. Maybe this week I will get it put together better.

SMITH'S CASE LOT SALE TIPS

1. Check to see if your store is sales only by the case or if they break up the case and sale the items indivually based on the case price. My Smiths sold all items indivially based on the case pricing so the deals became better for me. I did not need 8 cooking oils or 48 boxes of mac and cheese.
2. Check to see of your Smiths accepts coupons on the case lot items.
3. Watch the best by dates, it may be a good price but if you can't consume it all, it's not a good deal for you.
4. Just because it's part of the caselot sale DOES NOT mean it's a good deal. Check the star ratings on Grocery Smarts to get an idea of how good of a deal it really is.
