SHOP AND TELL

Not every couponing shopping trip needs to be big and exciting to be successful. I went to Albertsons this morning and only picked up a few items, but my savings still yielded 69%. I need the Rice Krispies for Valentines Day treats I am planning to make and we were out of our favorite granola bars. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes and that was with my little man being a very special helper.

So just remember that just because your shopping list may be small, it is still worth it to make the trip.

Total Value: $37.01
Total Saved: $25.49
Total Spent: $11.52
Average Savings: 69%

PS - The Albertson's Brand Cookie Crisp caught my little man's eye and he politely ask if he could have it. It was on sale for $1.00 a box so I gave in. I looked over my receipt just now and saw that this cereal is normally $2.49. Lucky for my little man that this cereal just happened to be on sale.

Hi Lisa, I was just going to let you know about a good free movie ticket deal a friend poined out to me at walmart. 16oz boxes of Lucky Charms are marked with buy 2 get a free movie ticket. There are codes inside the box to use online. They are $2.56 a box which is OK for that size but when you factor in the movie ticket it's a great deal! Your chicken recipe looks so good. I'm going to have to try it!
