MY SHOP AND TELL MARATHON

When my hubby asked my last Saturday if I was on a couponing vacation, I knew it was time to impress him again. I have been on couponing trips since my baby was born, but I have kept it a little low key. I must admit I was a little nervous to go couponing at more than one store on the same day with 3 kids, but I gathered up all my courage, bribed my kids with their "brownie point" rewards, fed the baby and headed out. It was business as usual ( I had nothing to worry about) and I came home with tons of stuff. See all my shopping breakdowns below . . .

TARGET
Total Value: $70.48
Total Spent: $21.29
Total Saved: $49.19
Average Savings: 70%

SMITHS
Total Value: $75.93
Total Spent: $42.64
Total Saved: $33.92
Average Savings: 43%

CVS
Total Value: $13.47
Total Spent: $2.35
Total Saved: $11.12
Average Savings: 83%

I always get the question, "Is it worth it to make a trip for just a few items?" The answer is YES. I was in major need of some cereal. I only had 5 boxes left in my pantry, crazy I know. I was done shopping at CVS in less than 5 minutes and I was able to get something that my family really needed. So to me that makes this trip very worth it.

LOL. We are totally in the same boat. 3 kids is totally sink or swim! A lady at one store told me I was crazy, 3 three and under kind of makes you look that way I guess. Congrats on the good trips.
