It's Memorial Day Weekend, so that means no coupon inserts this Sunday. Remember that just because the coupons are taking a vacation doesn't mean you have to. The sales should be good because of the holiday weekend. Be sure to check out GS to print your shopping list off today!

I was so excited this yesterday to find another set of CVS prescription transfer coupons in the ad. My CVS takes these coupons with prescription refills so I am able to take full advantage of this great offer. Over the past few months I have gotten over $500.00 of product just by using prescription transfer coupons and CVS's reward program. All in all, this weeks coupons offer me a value of over $235. Here is how I figured that out

Potential Value of Coupon Insert: $33.94 x 4 = 135.76
CVS Prescription Transfer Coupon: $25.00 x 4 = $100
Total Potential Value for the Week: 235.76

I can't wait to see all these coupons get used and help me save big.

VALUE OF COUPONS - 7/12

I added up my potential value of the coupons that come in the paper this morning and found that all four of my inserts bring me a potential savings of $58.96. That is more than half of my 6 months subscription rate. Cool RIGHT?!?!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Happy 4th of July to you and your family... and while you are having fun BBQ'ing and watching fireworks, you can take a holiday from coupons this Sunday - because we won't be getting any. Remember that SmartSource inserts are not published on major holiday weekends. Weird that coupons need a holiday, but that's how it goes.

THE VALUE OF THE SUNDAY PAPER

I have always known that the coupons from the Sunday paper are of great value to me. Overall they help me to have an average of $450.00 per month. Today, I decided to add up the add up the potential value of the coupons from yesterday and times by 4 (since I get four papers). With just this one Sunday paper I can potentially save $166.36. No wonder I love the Sunday paper and no wonder I am saving so much on my grocery budget.

So did you scour your newspapers this morning looking for your weekly pick me up and could not find them. No fear . . . you were not snubbed by the RJ.

A few weeks a year the couponing industry takes a break from handing out coupons and this weekend was one of those weeks. And our favorite stores like Albertsons and Smiths take a breather as well to recover from one of the busiest grocery weekends of the year.
