ABORT MISSION!!! TURN AROUND AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!!

I headed to Walgreens yesterday in hopes of scoring big. I had spent at least 45 minutes online researching some great deals. I cut my coupons and headed out to conquer the couponing world, but then . . .
  • I walked into the store and the lead checker, my checker from last week, immediately starts checking the ad - WARNING FLAG #1
  • When asking for a certain WAGS Coloring book for $0.99 I am told in not such a nice tone, "I don't EVEN know what you are talking about!" - WARNING FLAG #2
  • I could not locate the WAGS coupon that made one of my deals SWEET and I would have had to "make do" with some products that my family may or may not use. - WARNING FLAG #3

So instead of spending more money on deal than expected, I spent 5 minutes to returned all products to their proper place and walked out of the store empty handed.

I decided that I would save more money by not spending than if I would have gone through with my purchases and planned. Just because I had spent the time and effort to go shopping, I didn't have to go through with it. I simply walked away and will try again another day.

Not all your trips will go as smoothly as planned, especially when you have to depend on whats in stock. But just remember that no one is making you spend your money or use your coupons. Sometimes you are just as smart to walk away empty handed then to have buyers remorse when one of your deals go bad.
