CHEESE AND MY FOODSAVER

I love when bulk items go on sale for a great price, but have been hesitant in the past to buy. There is nothing worse than buying in bulk and then having the item spoil before you were ready to consume. One year for Christmas, my hubby got me a FoodSaver and my problem with buying in bulk disappeared. This 2lb block of cheese (that I bought at Smiths this week for $4.99) will take my family weeks to go through, but because of my FoodSaver I was able to cut my cheese into smaller portions that will better fit my family's consumption rate and preserve the remaining cheese until I am ready to use.

So if you find that you are just like me when it comes to buying in bulk, it may be time to invest in a FoodSaver. Remember that over time you will save the money you spent in the foods you that you preserve.

See the link on my left hand sidebar or click HERE to get more information about the FoodSaver.

I LOVE my foodsaver! It makes it so easy to stock up and know that there is always something to make for dinner! I am trying to find the best price for the bags... the best price I have found is Costco and Sams, have you found them for less? Thanks!

Hey Jennifer -

I haven't had to buy the bags for a long time but the last time I bought them I got them at Target. You could also look on Amazon or even E-bay.
