Sunday evening I looked through the CVS ad and noticed that my FAVORITE cereal was on sale for $1.88 a box. I knew if there was a coupon I could get a great deal so I looked at the GS
alphabetical coupon index to see if there was a coupon I could pair with the sale. And LUCKY DUCK me there were for $1/1. I knew that I wanted to stock up since the cereal was only $0.88 a box so I headed on over to my internet friend
Coupon Dede to purchase extra coupons. I spent about $1.50 on my extra coupons.
With a little extra planning I was able to walk in to CVS and purchase 12 boxes of cereal and one razor for $0.00 out of pocket. Of course I used a few advance couponing tips (EBC's to roll, $24.00 in coupons and CVS prescriptions transfer gift card) to get this awesome out of pocket total, but the point I want to make is that CVS does not have to have complicated shopping trips. Mine was simple, straight forward and yielded me a huge return of $64.00 in savings.
