A MUST SEE SHOP & TELL

Awhile back I used a prescription transfer coupon at Walgreen's and was able to get a $25.00 check to use on my next purchase. I rarely shop at Walgreen's because their reward program has more rules than CVS and I like to keep the stores I shop at to a minimum. However, I needed to use this $25.00 check and didn't want it to go to waste. I knew that I had to use the whole $25.00 check in one trip so I have been waiting for just the right sale. And let me tell you, this is the week to shop at Walgreen's.

With the sales, coupons and $25.00 prescription transfer check, I was able to get everything pictured above for $2.38. WaHoOoO!!!!!!!!!!!! I was down to my last bottle of Scrubbing Bubbles so the fact that I was able to stock up on some today made this deal even better. And to add even more icing to my cake $23.00 of my $27.00 of my used coupons came from yesterday's paper (SS-1/11). I feel like I could go on and on about this sale but I won't. I think my breakdown speaks for itself.

Total Value: $103.92
Total Spent: $2.38
Total Saved: $101.54
Average Savings: 98%

Oh My Gosh!!! I almost forgot one of the best parts. There is a "Spend $30 in participating products, get $10.00 Rebate" found in SS-1/11. My purchase today qualifies me for this rebate. So I am going to mail off my rebate form tomorrow and will get $10.00 check in the mail. So in reality, I will make $7.62 on this transaction. WHAT A DEAL!!!

EDIT: OK Gals - I don't want you to think you can't do this deal. It might not be as good as mine, but it is possible to walk away with a huge savings. If you take the $25.00 check away from my transaction, I still would have only paid $27.38 for $103.92 worth of product. That is still a 74% savings rate. Make sure to check out GS Walgreen's List and the coupon insert from Sunday (SS-1/11) to get all your coupons gathered for your transaction. Good Luck and send me pictures of your savings. I would love to see them.

I also stopped my K-Mart today. My hubby pointed out a pretty good cereal deal to me last night from the ad and I didn't give it a second glance. However, Hip2Save had the cereal sale with coupons to match HERE and as soon as I saw it I was totally on board for the sale. I felt bad that I didn't check into the deal a little more after my hubby told me about it.

Total Value: $20.00
Total Saved: $14.00
Total Spent: 6.00
Average Savings 70%

PS - I did two transactions to make this deal work.

What was the deal on the scrubbing bubbles? I couldn't find that item on the GS list....Did I miss something on that one? I saw the coupon in the 1-10 SS.

What was your final price on that one?

Melinda -

Scrubbing Bubbles is one of my favorite cleaners so when I saw that it was one sale for Buy One Get One FREE I checked the SS-1/11 to see if there were new coupons. I took them to walgreens just to see what the deal would be and I think I ended up getting each can for about $1.00. I already sent in my receipt for the rebate so I can't double check it. However the online price is $3.59/can and that is how I got my $1.00 figure. Just clip and take the coupons to Wags and see if the deal works for you.
